Invitation

Here is a proposal of a text you could use when inviting persons to be part of the circle of your newly acquired Amigo tablet. Once you have invited someone to be part of the circle of your Amigo tablet, we suggest you e-mail them and provide them with the necessary information to help them understand how to interact with the tablet. You will find below a proposal.

Our Dad / Mum / Aunt etc… has purchased an Amigo Classic tablet. It is a computer tablet, very simple to use, which allows them to benefit from the great communication opportunities that we all appreciate, but which require a certain mastery of the digital world. Daddy / Mummy will be able to receive photos or videos from you, or talk to you over video calling. Only those people invited to be part of their tablet circle will be able to get in touch with them and their tablet. This is a protection against the various intrusions that can accompany the entry into the digital world.

I have invited you to be part of the circle of this new tablet. You will receive / will have received an invitation by e-mail, from the address info@amigoclub.me, entitled “Invitation for Amigo Portal”. Answer it by clicking on the link you will find there, and follow the steps to register on the Amigo Portal. You have 14 days to do so, otherwise this invitation will expire.

Once you have registered, I suggest you :

1. Take note of dad / mum / aunt’s new e-mail address : ●@amigotablet.com.
2. You will be able to interact with the tablet in several ways:
   • Via the portal tablet.amigoclub.me, a website, the one where you will have registered by accepting the invitation mentioned above.
   • Or, very conveniently, via an app, the Amigo app, installed on your smartphone. It will be very practical for making or receiving calls, sending photos and videos. You will find this app in the Apple Store or in Google Play. Search for “Amigo Portal” in the apps section, and you will install it.
   • It is also possible to send photos by e-mail. But not the videos.
   • Photos sent by e-mail must be JPEG to be decoded by the tablet and those sent via the app or web portal JPEG or PNG.
3. You have the possibility to enter your phone number. Enter your mobile phone number, some Amigo messages of a more urgent nature may be sent to you by SMS.

It’s done, it’s up to you now. Feel free to send photos (by e-mail, from the portal or app), videos (from the portal or app), or an e-mail. How about a video call? Nothing will please him / her more.
